chocolat cookie spread
Makes: Roughly two cups of spread.
Ingredients:
8 oz shortbread cookies https://www.ctrlsaltpreheat.com/short-bread
1/4 cup milk
3 tbsp melted butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
pinch of salt
1/4 cup melted chocolate
1 tbsp cocoa powder

note: this recipe works with almost any cookie so long as it is not too soft, also it does not work with any cookies that have a filling. ALMOST ANY COOKIE RECIPE ON THIIS SITE WILL WORK.
melt your chocolate in a microwave safe bowl by microwaving for 30 seconds and stirring. after stirring it should all be melted but if not microwave it in 10 second bursts until fully melted.
Break up your cookies into quarters. add these and all other ingredients into a blender or food processor. pulse several times to get the cookies to a smaller size before turning the blender or food processor onto high and continue mixing until you have a smooth spread. I usually do about 1 minute.
Transfer to a jar or bowl with a lid and refridgerate.
